Bone ID on the go!

A bone identification website just popped up on my Facebook feed so I thought I'd share it with you. This website has been around for a few years but was recently updated.

The site appears to be created and maintained by Dr. Suzanne Abel, who teaches forensic anthropology at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. Here is a blurb from the site: "BoneID is built to help anyone identify bones. To do this we have developed several methods to help you reach a correct ID."

I've been browsing the site and it has a lot of great photos, especially of non human remains, which is very helpful when you're on the go and want to identify bones! So far the mobile version is working out pretty well too.  Check it out at: http://www.boneid.net/
